Legian, Bali – Following on from the success of our “Cooking Class” which has been a favourite of guests’ for approximately 4 years, in 2019 Swiss-Belinn Legian is launching its latest activity, “Cocktail Class”. Our Cocktail Class is very similar to the cooking class, but here we learn how to make cocktails. Cocktails have become a favourite drink for both local and foreign guests, especially when they spend time relaxing at our Rooftop Bar, Chadis. Many of the guests who order cocktails ask our bartenders how to make delicious cocktails. This is one of the reasons Swiss-Belinn Legian is now offering Cocktail Class activities.
According to Wikipedia.org, a cocktail is an alcoholic mixed drink which is either a combination of spirits, or one or more spirits mixed with other ingredients such as fruit juice, flavoured syrup, or cream. A variety of spirits can be mixed into cocktails include Gin, Whiskey, Rum, and Vodka.
The Cocktail Class will start at 14.30 at the 6th floor of Chadis Rooftop Bar Swiss-Belinn Legian. In the cocktail class, you will not only learn to mix the ingredients of alcoholic beverages but guests are also introduced to the types of alcoholic drinks that will be used, bar tools and their uses and learn how to make garnishes. The garnish is an important element in all cocktail presentations. Garnishes will make drinks more attractive and can even improve the taste of the drink itself. This class will be taught directly by Mr. Oka Tediarta, Food and Beverage Manager at Swiss-Belinn Legian, who has years of experience in the world of bar-tending. Classes will last for approximately 2 hours. At the end of the class, participants will be given the freedom to make their own beverage creations and enjoy their homemade cocktails. It is expected that participants will develop their creativity to make cocktails and can become amateur cocktail makers of the future.
The fee for joining the Cocktail Class is IDR 360,000 ++ / person including materials, recipes, photos during activities and certificates. This class is recommended only for a maximum of 6 people and it is recommended to make a reservation up to 1 day in advance.
