He revealed that these dishes were all-natural, no food enhancers, which ingredients can be picked from one’s backyard.

“We are proud to reintroduce these locally sourced dishes,” he added. “We are sincere in offering these dishes that are really far from the modern food we have today. Chef Bayu added that if only the young ones today can try the dishes from the past, they can appreciate more how simple these can be prepared.

He said, “This way, we can promote, too, our local ingredients. Generally, we envision a new generation who are aware of our culinary heritage and continue to pass it on to future generations.”
