ZEST HOTEL LEGIAN LAUNCHES FOSTER CHILDREN PROGRAM TO CELEBRATE HOTEL’S FIRST ANNIVERSARY

LEGIAN, BALI – To celebrate their first anniversary, Zest Hotel Legian launched their very first social responsibility program for local community identified as The Foster Children Program, as a sustainable program that will contribute a key to the future for nearby child given by the management and staff of this two-star hotel in Legian.

There are two children that have been selected to earn an education donation with a total amount of one million and two hundred thousand rupiah per year. One child is now studying in the elemetary school, and another child is in junior middle school. To ensure that the program will be running according to expectations, the donation will be arranged and distributed by a professional organization through LPD Desa Adat Legian. The LPD Desa Adat Legian will ensure that the entitled children will receive funds appropriately and not be given cash in hand from the management of Zest Hotel Legian, to avoid unexpected miss-usage of the money.

“We understand that the value of the donation is not our goal, but to give a valuable and proven action is. So we are not taking too many foster children into this program but two. We will make sure that they will finish their studies without any financial problems to pay for education at their level.” Said Ms. Diah Suryandari, Hotel Manager of Zest Hotel Legian.

“The donation is taken from the result of managing unused items that we successfully recycled by Garbage Bank Legian managed by the hotel’s department of Human Resources, specifically under control of the welfare committee of Zest Hotel Legian.” She added.

This program is being introduced to all Swiss-Belhotel International management properties by staff in the Bali region and invited guests and partners that attend the 1st Anniversary celebration at the rooftop pool on August 8th, 2017. During the event, Zest Hotel Legian also introduces their appreciation to all guests that have stayed in the hotel and enjoyed their holidays in the hotel area in a photo or video. Zest Hotel Legian will select two winners for one best holiday moment in photograph and one in a video that is posted on Instagram with the hashtag #ZestBestDays and also invites everyone to enjoy the best day in Zest Hotel Legian and join this social media challenge. The winner will be announced at the end of the year and also invites all future guests to join the challenge.
